Mahasthangar
Mahasthangar was ancient pundranagari, which is current name is Mahasthangar, located of shibganj police station in the Bogra district. There are 4 thousand years old structures in this area. The powerful Maura and other kings used mahasthangar as their provincial capital. Pundanagar has used as the main capital of the pal kings. This huge city is situated on the west side of the Karotoa River. Borendra region such as Bogra, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Maldah was the real residence of pundra. In 1931, the mahasthangar was identified as ancient pundranagar. After the death of shashanka the famous Chinese traveler wan chun came to pundanagar for the buddist establishment tour in 693. He saw many buddist temples and monasteries built by emperor of ashok. According to his description, pundra was a prosperous city and its volume was six miles. This locality was very much wonderful like as Athens, babelion, Egypt. Pundranagari became the mahastangar of Bangladesh during the prosperous muslim rule. In 1808, Buchanan Hamilton at first discovered the destruction of pundranagar.

Shiladevir Ghat: The shiladevir ghat situated on the banks of kortoa river at the east side. shiladevi was the sister of parshuram. Here is every year the hindus bath and sitting a fair for one day.

Zeutkunda Kup: There is large kup called zeutkunda situated on the west side of shiladevi ghat. It is said that, the solders of porsuram cure from injured after drinking the water of this kup. Although, no historical evidence for that.

Mankali Island: The archeological items obtain from the mankali island, such as terracotta ornaments, plate-dishes, statue of ganesh made of copper and some balance of 15 dome mosque.

Govinda Vita: The govinda vita is situated in front of the mohastangor museum. Govinda vita is an excavated archeological site. Although, there is not founds symbol of Vishnu religion. Yet the archeological site is locally known as govinda vita.

The step of totaram pandit: It is located in the paharpur village. The remains of a buddist monastery are found here.

Gokul Medh: This place is also known as basar house of Bahula. It is located in the gokul village at three kilometers south of Bogra-Rangpur highway. There is a stage with 172 square rooms are available.

The step of Iskander: It is located in the Baghapur village at three kilometers south of Bogra-Rangpur highway. There is a statue made of touchstone and name is kartika. 

The step of khullana:  this place is located in chengispur village, khullana was wife of chand sagar. That’s why, this place name is step of khullana.

Mahi sawar mazar: The historical mazar sharif is situated short on west of mahastangar bus stand. The ancient mazar sharif was builds on the center of pirzada hazrat shah sultan Mahmud balkhi (rm.). It is said that, he is come in the borendra bhumi on the back of the fish. That’s why called his mahi sawar.

The jungle of Bhim: From the north east of Bogra is begun and to till of north damukdhar bit. This area is called jungle of bhim. This place is matching the military area because it is the defense of the eastern part of the country.

Museum of mahastangar: This museum is situated on the north side of mahastangar. When the excavation of mahastangar there is founds many ancient items, which items preserved in this museum. Besides the mahastangar, the archeological items collect from other places and preserved here. Everyday open the museum at 10am to 6pm accept Sunday and Monday.

Palace of Parshuram: There are archeological of three periods. In the 8th century, there is the vishnupattar stone. In the 15th-16th century, there are some brilliant examples of Muslim heritage. Between 1835 and 1853, there are founds two coins, which coin used by the east India Company.

How to go
If you go from the Dhaka, at first you will go gabtali bus terminal there is many buses leave to Bogra like that Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli Paribahan etc. AC and NON-AC service are available in there.
If you want to go there by train, you can.

Jaflong


Jaflong
Jaflong is located in Goainhat upazila of sylhet district in the Bangladesh, which that 62 kilometers north-east of sylhet city. On the foothills of the khasia jainta, touch in the border of india meghalay. One Side River and other side khasia jainta hills. The fountain is going on in the hills and the various colored stones on the roof of the river. From the some distance, this view is looks like that the hills standing of leaned on the sky. The clouds swept of the hills body like a soft lift. Where else you cannot see this view except jaflong? Jaflong of sylhet is to known as the daughter of nature in the Bangladesh.

The hill elevation over the Indian border, continuous flow of water from the dawki hills, hanging of Dawki Bridge, transparent himel water of the piyan river, there is high mountain hills and the silence of the monsoon, this area has impressed the tourist with great pleasure. If you come to sylhet and you cannot visit jaflong then you can stay away from the trip. The beauty of jaflong is depend on the season, you can see different view in the winter season and rainy season. Yet, there is transparent fountain flowing down from several thousand feet high the scenes so much beautiful and everyone enjoy watch the scenes. In the winter season, the jaflong appeared in another form. And, this time Surroundings of the greenery and unfathomable forest on the top of the hill. So, you can go there in the both seasons. There is flow two rivers chest in the jaflong, Dholai and Pyain. The Jaflong looks as a different beauty for these rivers. There are many kinds of small fishes, roaming together in the transparent water of these rivers.

There is thousands of workers collect stones from this rivers, this view most wondering for the tourist. Men and women dive in the rivers at morning to evening. You can see here hanging bridge, it is looking awesome.

If you go from the Dhaka, at first you will go Saidabad bus terminal there is many buses leave to Sylhet like that Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli Paribahan, Soudia, S.Alam etc. AC and NON-AC service are available in there. After reach sylhet there is many CNG, Laguna, and Auto Rickshaw leave to Jaflong.
For another way, If you want to go there by train, you can. Also there is Bangladesh Biman service are available from Dhaka to Sylhet.

There is a Banglow of district council but it is not so good for stay. So, you will go to sylhet city, there is many hotel and motel you can find. Such as hotel hill town, surma, kayokabad etc. every hotel and motel service are so much good. Even you can find there four-star hotel. Every residual hotel arranges foods for their customers.

Bayezid Bostami Mazar


Bayezid Bostami Mazar
Bayezid Bostami Mazar is located on a hill of Nasirabad in the Chittagong. He is come from iran and he was a famous Persian sufi Bayezid Bostami. This mazar founded is name of the Bayezid Bostami. This mazar is a very attractive place for the local peoples of Chittagong. In addition, there is come many foreign tourists. At first discovered this mazar on the hillside like that tomb at 1831. A coffin is located just in the middle of the courtyard. Later the tomb was replaces by modern structures.

There is a three domed rectangular mosque and large sizes pond of the foothills. From the architecture, it is assume that the mosque was built during the mugal emperor aurangazeb times. It is thought that the Sufis and awlias built there resident in the forest or hills for spread of Islam. We know the history of Bayezid Bostami from the local peoples. When he leaves after staying in Chittagong, the local peoples request him for stay here permanently. He was impressed for their love so he cut his little finger and some blood drop in the ground and he told him to build a mazar in this place. There is a big pond, you can see here many tortoise and gazer fish.

If you want to go from Dhaka, at first you have to go saidabad bus terminal, there is many regular buses leave to Chittagong like that S.Alam, Green Line, Shyamoli, Hanif etc. after reach Chittagong, there is some local buses leave to Bayezid Bostami Mazar.

Hazrat shahjalal (rm) was a famous saint and pir of the subcontinent. He was a most powerful Olympian. The religion of Islam spread through the Hazrat Shahjalal (rm) in the sylhet region. shekh burhan uddin was the first Muslim of sylhet, raza gaur gavindo forcing him. In this time Hazrat shahjalal (rm) come to sylhet with his travelling companion 360 Awlias, it is a significant event in history. That is why sylhet, is called 360 Awlias town. Some peoples called sylhet as the holy land in Bangladesh. The dargah sharif is a very sacred place for everyone, so it is not use to attract of the tourist. Because of this, the dargah maintainers decide who can enter the inside of dargah. Many times visitors are gives away for their indecent dress. Therefore, when entering the dargah you must be keeps decent clothes, it is very much important for there.

There is a pond on the north side of the dargah complex of Hazrat shahjalal (rm). There are numerous gazar fish in this pond. The visitor gives them small fish. There is a small fish sales system in the western corner of the pond. There are also arrange for wudu in the pond.

Jalali pigeon and Nizam uddin Awlia
Hazrat Nizam Uddin Awlia received him acceptance of the spiritual power of Hazrat Shahjalal (rm). As become of loves, he presented him with a pair of surma colored pigeons or Jalali pigeon. You can see the surma colored pigeon in the sylhet and its surroundings, which is descendant of the couple that called by Jalali pigeon. In the sylhet region, peoples do not kill or eat this pigeon. Rather, the resident’s peoples give their foods and shelter. There are sees out of numbers pigeon flying in the Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar. The mazar authorities provide foods for these pigeons.

Chillakhana
There is a small room in the south of the mazar, it was chillakhana of Hazrat Shahjalal (rm). This space is just 2 feet wide. It is said that, Hazrat Shahjalal (rm) spent 23 years of his life for worship in this chillakhana.

Hazrat Shahjalal (rm) not just only a pir, he was a hero mojahid. His used swords, clog, plate and bowl these item display for visitors. There is an entrance gate through dargah madrasa building on the south side of dargah. After moving along the ways, house of Mufti Nazim uddin Ahmed on the left side. Sword and clog have preserved of Hazrat Shahjalal (rm) in this house. Plate and bowl have preserved of dargah mutawalli house. Every day many visitors come here for see these.

How to go
If you want to go there by bus, at first you have to go saidabad and gabtali bus terminal, there is many buses leave to sylhet. AC and Non-Ac bus services are available in this route.   

If you want to go there by train, at first you have to go kamlapur rail way station, there is some train leave to sylhet of different time. Such as intercity train Porabat express leave at morning, 6.40 am every day in a week accept Tuesday. Jointika express leave at noon 2pm every day in a week accept Wednesday. Upoban express leave at night 9.50 minute in a week accept Friday.

If you want to go there by air, at first you have to go Shahjalal International Airport, there is some flight every day leave to sylhet such as united air, Regent air, Novo air etc.

Sixty dome mosque


Sixty dome mosque
The sixty-dome mosque is situated in the sundarghona village, located just 7 kilometers away from the bagerhat city in Bangladesh.  There is no inscription on the mosque wall. So, did not find any exact information about the sixty-dome mosque construction. But there is no doubt about architecture of the mosque that khan-e-jahan had built. It assumes that he built in the 15th century. The mosque has been built at many years and with a lot of money. Its stone brought from Rajmahal. It is one of the three world heritage sites of Bangladesh. The mosque is about 160 feet length outside of the north south and 104 feet width outside of the east west. The walls are about 8.5 feet. In the south-west of the country, the ancient mosque has honored by UNESCO world heritage in the year of 1983. The mosque has placed Bagerhat city among the three world famous cities of Bangladesh. There are 11 large sized arched doors on the east sided wall of the mosque. The middle door is bigger than the other doors. There are seven doors in the north and south walls and there are four miners in the four corners of the mosque. These miners are looking so beautiful. There are 60 pillars in side of the mosque.  They are located in six rows north to south and there is 10 pillars in each row. Every pillar made from cutting of stone. This dome is made on 60 pillars and surrounding the walls.
Sixty dome mosque
This mosque name is sixty dome but the number of dome is 77, yet it name is sixty dome mosque. The historians suppose that there are seven stringed dome rows in that case this mosque name is satgombuj and its has been named as sixty-dome mosque. Again, many historians suppose that the mosque is builds on 60 stones pillars, so that the name is sixty-dome mosque.

Ticket price

There is per person ticket price is 20 taka and if the visitor age below 5 years no need ticket for their. For every foreign visitor ticket, price 200 taka.

Open and closing time schedule
In the summer session the kella is open at morning 10am to evening 6pm, only middle of the day 1pm to 1.30pm close the kella. And the winter session the kella is open at morning 9am to evening 5pm, only middle of the day 1pm to 1.30pm close the kella. Every Friday the kella is close at 12.30pm to 3pm for the jumma salat. Every Sunday general leave and Monday opens the kella at 2pm.

How to go
From the saidabad bus terminal of Dhaka city, many buses leave to bagerhat at morning 6am to 10am and evening 7pm to 10pm. After reach bagerhat, there is many rickshaw leave to sixty-dome mosque.
If you want to go there by train, sundarban express leave to Khulna from Dhaka kamlapur railway station. After reach, rupsha rail station, there is many local buses leave to bagethat. Just 7 kilometers away to sixty-dome mosque from the bagerhat town, you can go there by rickshaw.

Although, you are stay in the Khulna city, because, it is nearby bagerhat.

Vaowal National Park


Vaowal National Park
This park is located about forty kilometers from Dhaka and just three kilometers from Gazipur. Every place is so much beautiful in this garden. The path of walking between the align of trees. If you tired of walk, there is a bench and shade for rest. There is paddy field, some ponds and small sizes lake in the park.
The main plant of the bhawal national park is the Sal tree. There are about 250 species of plants in the park. Of these, 50 species of different types of trees, 3 kinds of palm trees, various types of shrubs, many kinds of grass, and 130 species of medicinal trees in this park.

Also, you can see there 15 types of mammals, some reptiles, and many kinds of birds.
There are several picnic spots inside the bhawal national park. Their names are very interesting, Ananda, Kanchan, sonalu, obokash, oboshor, binodon etc. there are also some cottages which name is Bokul, Maloncha, Madhobi, Chameli, Bally etc.
If you want to use this picnic spot and cottage, you will be an advance booking from mohakhali office of the forest department.

Bhawal national park entrance ticket price is 6 taka per person, for private car or microbus entrance price 30 taka and mini bus 50 taka.

If you want, go from Dhaka, many buses leave to mymensingh from daka mohakhali bus terminal. You want to reach bhawal national park main gate by this bus.

Wherefore, bhawal national park nearby Dhaka city, you can be come back to Dhaka from joydebpur. Also, you can stay to the gazipur town, there are many residential hotels are available in the gazipur.

Botanical Garden

Botanical Garden
The national botanical garden of Bangladesh is known as the botanical garden. It is located in beside of Dhaka Zoo, situated on 208 acres of land. There are many known and unknown trees in this garden. There are about 800 species of trees in this park. Everyday many ordinary peoples, visitors come to this garden. Among these trees, there are many types of fruit and flower garden. As the garden situated on the large of land, so there are pond, dighi, clump of bushes and medicinal plants in the garden. There have a forest department office, you can face any kinds of disaster in the garden, you can complain there.
